theBobbery hopes to become a community outlet, representing the local startup scene. Co-written by founders and co-founders, by the shapers of the bobbery in the Philippines.
Here at theBobbery we obviously are big fans of locally developed products. We actively use Insync, Nowshowing, looloo app, Lifebit, Events K.I.T., Tripid and play Streetfood Tycoon, purchase items from Galleon.ph as well as recommend Checkout.ph as e-commerce platform for online stores.
Who is ‘theBobbery’
theBobbery is mainly written by Franky Branckaute, an often snarky and sarcastic tech veteran. Aside from extensive product management experience, and entrepreneurial ventures, Franky has more than 10 years of experience in publishing, testing, and reviewing startups and gadgets.
Currently he is Entrepreneur in Residence at Leo Burnett. He also led the development of an internet search engine, specialized in quick deployment topical verticals and has lead several development teams as product manager in this decade.
